Visse Labs operates Moonpath. This page explains the information used by the app and how to manage it. Contact us for privacy questions.
What a personal reading stores
After you review and confirm, we store your account identifier, optional first name, birth instant, birthplace label, time zone, calculated positions, selected focus and challenge, and creation date. The birth instant reveals your birth date and time. We use these records to calculate and reopen your reading.
Your words and progress
Personal conversation edits, prompt ratings, completed steps, and the closing check-in are stored only when you select Save my progress. They are associated with your reading. They are not published in the Whop community or sent to an AI provider. Avoid including other people’s identifying details.
Free sample plans can save to your browser when you enable device saving. Anyone using that browser profile may see them. Turn device saving off in each sample to remove its copy.
Sign-in, payment, and hosting
Moonpath uses Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication, alongside existing Whop sign-in. Google handles the account chooser and any security checks. Moonpath does not receive your Google password. Google and Firebase process your basic account profile and verified email to authenticate you. Moonpath stores your verified email, Firebase user identifier, and a Moonpath account identifier. We do not request access to Gmail, contacts, or Drive. Firebase receives no birth details or reflection text. Connecting Google to existing Whop readings requires both your current Whop sign-in and successful Google authentication; matching email addresses alone do not connect accounts.
For Whop sign-in, Moonpath receives your Whop user ID, display name, and verified email when provided. A secure, essential cookie keeps you signed in on this device for up to seven days; temporary Whop sign-in cookies expire after ten minutes. Google credentials are held in browser memory only while signing in, then cleared from Moonpath’s Firebase client. Sign out to invalidate your current Moonpath session, especially on a shared device. Signing out of Google separately does not sign out this Moonpath session. Keyed hashes of sign-in identifiers and your network address limit repeated requests for up to one day, then are cleared during subsequent requests. Google and Whop maintain their own authentication records under their policies.
Sites and its hosting infrastructure store and serve Moonpath records. Whop handles checkout, receipts, and its own payment records. Moonpath sends an opaque order reference and checks payment and membership status. Birth details and conversation text are not sent to Whop or GeoNames. City search uses a local GeoNames catalog. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts.
Usage measurement
We keep daily totals of actions such as creating a reading, opening checkout, verifying a purchase, and completing day seven. These totals contain no names, birth details, words, payment IDs, or persistent visitor identifiers. They help us understand whether the app is useful. They are not used for advertising. Hosting and payment providers may keep their own operational logs.
Whop website tracking
We also use the Whop Pixel to measure page visits, connect website visits with purchases, and understand which traffic sources and campaigns lead to sales. This is separate from the anonymous daily totals above. Your browser loads Whop’s script from t.whop.tw and sends page-view events and selected funnel events to Whop under Moonpath’s business account. These funnel events record a completed new Google registration, a successfully generated personal reading, and the first unlock-button click for each reading. Opaque event references prevent refreshes and repeated clicks from inflating counts; they contain no birth details or reflection text. Your browser temporarily stores event references to carry signup confirmation across the sign-in redirect and avoid duplicate events during the session. Whop may process page addresses, referral and campaign information, device and network information, and visitor identifiers for this measurement and attribution. Automatic contact-field detection is disabled. Moonpath does not add your birth details, reflection text, name, or email to these pixel events. Whop processes this information under its privacy policy.
Deletion and purchase recovery
Delete a reading in My readings to remove its chart, birth information, and saved progress from the app’s active database. A minimal purchase record—account identifier, order and payment references, seller and plan identifiers, dates, and payment status—remains so you can restore access to a replacement reading and resolve purchase issues. Deletion does not refund a purchase or delete records held independently by Whop.
Readings remain until you delete them. Contact us to request removal of your remaining Moonpath account and purchase-link data; we will explain any records that need to be retained to handle a transaction or legal requirement. Hosting backups may retain earlier copies for the provider’s backup lifecycle. We do not promise immediate deletion from provider backups.
Copies and access
You can copy, download, or print your available reading and edited words. Exported copies are under your control and are not removed when you delete the reading. Access to saved records is checked against your signed-in account. Use Sign out when you finish on a shared device.
Moonpath is intended for adults 18 and over. Astrology interpretations are optional editorial reflections.
